Chef Prov’s mission and life purpose is to bring people together through flavorful, freshly prepared meals made with passion, quality ingredients, genuine hospitality, and most importantly LOVE!

Prov’s mother cooked often, and by the age of 10, he had already started making simple dishes of his own, beginning mostly with breakfast.

He later attended The Art Institute of New York City, where he earned a degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. Learning how to prepare different styles of food and work in an à la carte environment confirmed what he already felt—this was the field he was meant to be in. Cooking wasn’t just something he enjoyed; it was in his blood. And he knew he didn’t simply want to be a cook. He was born to be a chef.

With more than 28 years of culinary experience, Chef Prov has worked in catering halls, corporate dining, and high-end restaurants. Over the years, his passion for cooking has continued to grow. People often tell him they can taste the love in his food, and presentation is just as important to him as flavor. He believes people “eat with their eyes first,” so he takes pride in making every dish look just as good as it tastes.

What Chef Prov brings to the table is a blend of elevated cuisine and comforting, familiar flavors with influences from different cultures. Growing up in a diverse city gave him an appreciation for a wide variety of foods and inspired his love for creating culturally blended dishes with his own unique twist.

His specialties include Southern cuisine, American comfort food, Caribbean dishes, healthy meals, small plates, and creative fusion dishes. He is especially known for his Jerk Chicken, Shrimp Scampi, and Chicken Quesadillas. He also enjoys putting a fresh spin on healthy food without sacrificing flavor.

Chef Prov’s work goes beyond the kitchen. He teaches cooking classes for people of all ages and has developed a special passion for teaching cooking classes for autistic adults. He also provides meal preparation services and knows his way around the grill when it’s time to bring the flavor to a cookout.
